For the cake
- Unsalted Butter - 170 grams (3/4 cup)
- Dark Brown Sugar - 200 grams (1 cup)
- Butterscotch sauce - 4 tbsp (see substitute above)
- Eggs - 3 large
- All-Purpose Flour - 280 grams (2 1/2 cups)
- Baking powder - 1 1/2 Tsp
- Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 Tsp
- Sour cream - 250 ml (1 cup)
- Vanilla - 2 Tsp
For decorating the cake
Instructions
- Grease and line two 8 inch baking pans or (3 six inch baking pans)
- Preheat the oven to 170 C / 340 F
- Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
