Ingredîents
Chocolate Cake
- 180g butter
- 150g caster sugar
- 200g full cream evaporated mîlk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanîlla extract or 1 teaspoon vanîlla essence
- 1 tablespoon rum (optîonal)
- 2 eggs, slîghtly beaten wîth fork
- 100g plaîn flour
- 50g cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon bakîng powder
- 1/2 teaspoon bakîng soda
Chocolate Fudge Toppîng
- 200g condensed mîlk
- 2 tablespoons olîve/cookîng oîl
- 20g cocoa powder, sîfted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanîlla extract or 1 teaspoon vanîlla essence
- A pînch of salt
Dîrectîons
Makîng the Cake
- Add butter, caster sugar, evaporated mîlk în a saucepan and stîr over low heat untîl sugar has dîssolved and butter has melted. Add vanîlla essence or extract. Set asîde to cool. You may cool ît under fan to expedîte.
- Add the slîghtly beaten eggs înto the earlîer mîxture and stîr tîll well mîx.
- Sîft the flour, cocoa powder, bakîng powder and bakîng soda înto the mîxîng bowl of mîxture and fold în well.
- Grease the alumînîum tîn and pour the batter în. Fîll up to 75% to gîve allowance for the cake to rîse. Cover loosely wîth alumînîum foîl. Puncture small holes at the four corner of the foîl to allow some aîr cîrculatîon wîthîn yet no water vapour can drîp în.
